Diversity in education and the workforce is essential to a healthy work and educational environment. Diversity is shown to increase critical thinking in students, productivity with employees, and a more comfortable and inclusive environment for all. Diversity in schools also prepares students for adulthood and entering the workforce. Having a diverse workforce allows students to see staff that look like themselves.

Using a combination of improved school funding, more even distribution of funding for STEM programs across the country, corporate backing, and improved STEM education programs in school, we have the ability to combat and overcome the socioeconomic disparity currently plaguing STEM education and the STEM industry as a whole, while improving the lives of students and society.
