Designed, and created a simulation of a real life satellite that went to orbit in Unreal Engine 5. This consisted of a full replica of the entire earth, the Space X rocket, the launch site, and the IBM Space satellite. Students helped with art and design and will be communicating with the satellite via code.
Artificial Intelligence Explorations
ISTE - General Motors
March 2021
Participated in a professional cohort learning how to use artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings. Students will be able to solve real world problems with the tools and techniques provided by this certification.

Hosted a professional speaking session about how to successfully teach game design and programming during a pandemic by using remote learning tools and techniques.

A Thriving Planet?

Created an interactive simulation/game project that is meant to be used as educational and research curriculum. Students and users can create their own climate change or current event related simulations and experiences anywhere on the digital twin of planet earth. Complete with space ship, teleportation, multiple forms of locomotion, digital twin replicas of the students and developers and more.
Unreal MegaGrant Recipient
Epic Games

Received an Megagrant from Epic Games in order to create custom curriculum for high school students that educates them on how to start using the Unreal Engine to create their own real-time 3d video games.
Game Jam Participant

Ongoing
Participate in bi-monthly game jams, which are competitions in which students and teachers compete to create the most compelling game, based on a given them, in an allotted amount of time. I am responsible for leading teams and doing much of the programming, design, and art work for each game project.
